As summer vacation draws to a close, the days continue to get hotter and hotter. But don’t let the heat turn up alone and check out these pool places where you can turn up!

  1. Kennedy Pool - Kennedy Pool is a nice and cheap pool place in South County. Admission is only $4 for adults and $3 for children and seniors. Children four and under are admitted free of charge. It’s open from noon to 6p.m. so you can spend all of the hot hours of the day here chilling in a cool pool if you live near South County.

  2. McNair Park Pool - This St. Charles pool is family friendly and a great place to spend your day. It’s also open from noon to 6p.m and is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and children. After 4p.m. adults are admitted for $4 and children for $3. Anyone two and under gets in for $2. If you live near St. Charles, this just may be the place to cool off for you and your family.

  3. Bridgeton Crossing Aquatic Park - Bridgeton Crossing Aquatic Park is slightly higher than the previously listed pools. Prices for non residential adults and children are $8 and $7 respectively, while for residents prices are $6 and $5 respectively. Non residential seniors pay $8 while residential seniors pay $5. There are plenty of slides, a big pool, a children’s play area, and somewhere to just relax in the sun so the $7 to $8 could definitely be worth it.

  4. Maryland Heights Aquaport - In Maryland Heights, there’s a water park just waiting to entertain you and your family. It’s a little expensive for non residents with prices of $15 for adults and $10 for children. Residents pay $5 for adults and $4 for children. Children three and under get in free. There’s a lazy river, a variety of slides and even an area for you and your dog to play. Not to mention free parking. The Aquaport is open from 11a.m. to 7p.m. on weekdays, 11a.m. to 9p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 7p.m. on Sundays and can be worth the price of admission.

  5. Splash City - Although it’s a 22 minute drive through Illinois, Splash City has a plethora of activities to engage in. It’s a bit pricey with adults paying $18 to get in while children pay $15. However everyone gets a $5 discount after 4p.m. so you could possibly end up paying $13 and $10 respectively. It’s open from 11a.m. to 7p.m. and open until 9p.m. on (Turn up) Tuesdays!
