What is Twitch?

It’s essentially the YouTube for live gaming, people broadcast themselves playing and/or talking about games while other people watch them while chatting about it. Every major event, publisher, developer, and media outlet in the gaming industry has a presence on Twitch. Streaming became an ever-present piece of the gaming experience. And it’s only going to get bigger.

How to sign up?

To sign up for an account, go to http://twitch.tv and select the "Sign Up" button on the top-right portion of the page.

Just a reminder not everyone that makes a twitch account get paid it's kinda like Youtube; the more views, the more the money. So keep your day job and keep focusing on school. But give it a try! You never know that gameplay of you winning all your deathmatch on GTA 5 may just get you to the top.
